A Single Verse

We gathered in the well-lit room, and fellowship ensued. Sweet voices filled the table space, and set a joyous mood.

Each chose a verse upon the page, a simple line or two. Then wrote down thoughts that stirred within, what Jesus vowed to do.

Some felt themselves as undeserved, and gently wiped a tear. Together learned our Savior’s grace, of promise over fear.

His Word for us had come to life, an anchor in any storm. A single verse we take with us, and watch our lives transform.
